I’ve switched over to Chrome as my last MacPro is on the fritz.  I can’t afford, as you know the Mac world any longer.  So I ordered a small Lenovo (they bought IBM ThinkPads a while ago) and I sent my neighbor up to Best Buy since my walking radius is still about two blocks between the strokes and spinal stenosis.

And he confirmed that the Lenovo e500 has a great keyboard.

So it all fits in with my grand scheme to go lightly into what I imagine is my last act as in ACT V.  You do get to a point where you realize you can go any day.  That doesn’t mean you get all shook up about it.  I had that feeling hanging over me through thirty-plus years with Crohn’s and Colitis.

In fact it can be a good jolt out of complacency.  Each day a gift and all that sort of rot.  But from where I sit, it can be a good kick to remind you not to take things for granted.

For me the last act is going to be more writing and less shooting.  I’ve got plenty to write about and now most of these subjects are long gone.  True, their kids are mostly around but I can’t wait forever.

And anyway, my hands have a tremor that got worse after the strokes which isn’t great for street shooting.
